My First Official Twistout In Over a Year!!!!!

Hi everyone!  I want to give a special shoutout to everyone who has recently started following my blog!  What's up!  How are you guys doing?  Is it hot enough for you out there! lol!  Thank you so much for subscribing to my blog and strap in tight, you are in for a bumpy ride!  To my loyal subscribers who have held it down since day one, I haven't forgotten you! I love you too!  A giveway is in the works for a pair of chopsticks and maybe some other goodies!  Stay tuned!

Okay, yesterday I had the urge to wash my hair so freakin bad!!! OMG!!!  So I did it.  I wanted to hold out for a while but my scalp was protesting!  Between this high dew point, and the heat, all I wanted to do was dunk my head in some water.  But before I did I decided to take my twists down for a twist out.

The twists lasted for seven days.  Not bad.  I was ready to go another week but I am still working on finding a way to remoisturize (yes spell check that is a word cause I said so!)  my hair without having to redo my style all over again due to over manipulation.

It took all of 15-10 minutes to take down the twists and separate the curls.  I added a little coconut oil to my fingers to help lubricate my strands as I lightly separated my hair.

And trust and believe, my  hair looks NOTHING like it did when I first left the house that morning.  The dew point has been at 68 degrees, making the air thick and nasty.

As soon as I stepped outside with all this glycerin on my hair it just went POOF!  lol  I don't care though.

The only thing that bothered me the most was that all this hair on my head felt like I had my own personal rug or wool coat and it was unbearably hot and uncomfortable.

So from now until this muggy heat wave sitchi-ation calms down just a tad bit I think Imma be rocking these here twists I put in last night from now on.
