Throwback March 2009 Part III

I got tired of those flat twists

....after 2 weeks. So I cowashed my hair with a whole bunch of conditioners mixed up in a plastic cup and added about 1/4 a cup of organc ev olive oil. My hair loves it. Only took 3 years to figure it out. I am a little uneasy using it though because I have been going easy on the oils lately and drinking more water to get rid of this dang acne and don't want any set backs. But I have heard olive oil doesn't clog pores so we will see with time...

I left the back in the same twists.....

and just cowashed it too. I can't remember ever leaving the back the same and just doing a fresh set in the front. It doesn't bother me because I can't see it anyway lol...but I don't think it looks that bad in person (I hope!). I tried to blend the old with the new by twisting my hair towards the back starting about 3 inches from my forehead. But hair does what it wants to do so most of it has worked its way into a funky bob shape that I am diggin....

Can you see the hint of color?

I did a frosting on my hair (where you put a frosting cap over your hair and pull peices of hair through). Yeah...it took an hour just to pull the front through the cap so I said to heck with the back. And most of the color I did put on my hair was done by me taking color, putting it on my gloved hand and applying it to small sections of hair.

I love love love the color and once it was all done I wished I had just went ahead and did my whole head. I am sure it will be okay as long as I keep it moist. The color I used by the way was Soft Sheen and Carson's 379 golden bronze.

Probably next year I will do my whole head because I really like this color alot.  (Update 2010:  That would be big a negative! Ain't happening captain!).
