I think the problem was not the length of time I left them in, but the fact that I spritzed it with a liquid moisturizer everyday and that caused the twists to shrink and make it a challenge to take down. My hair wasn't tangled bad, it is just that my hair is really thick and my head is really big, a hairdresser's nightmare right?
So anyway, I did this style on Wednesday, it took me a little over 4 hours to do, not bad at all. And this is the first time I have ever worn a frohawk/elvis wanna be 'do before! Um, don't be surprised if you see a few different frohawk variations for a while because I think I am in love!
I have been wanting to do a frohawk for a hot minute, but I never had enough hair to do it!
This side didn't come out like I wanted it to, oh well...this was my first time so not that bad:
But this side of the flat twists came out dang near perfecto:
I plan to rock this 'do for 1-2 weeks and then do something else. No more 3 week long styles for me until the summer....
Take care and Merry Christmas!!!

Well, I'm glad you got your money's worth outta the last style!
ReplyDeleteI like this one, too. It's cool to have something easy and worry-free for the holidays.
I think I'll throw some curls in for x-mas and call it a day...
Love it! Like Soulful said...I too need to learn how to do flat twists, I love the look of them!
