New Flat Twist/Twist Hairdo

I am sure I have already shared this already, but I am getting more and more lazy with my hair.  I wore that twist out for a total of 2.5 days.  On Saturday I washed and deep conditioned and did this flat twist/twist style here:

It took me about 4 hours or so, not bad.  Time flew by as I did it because I sat down and watched Madea's Big Happy Family (loved it!  I am a big fan of Tyler Perry's plays!) and the Good Time's marathon.

Let me share a secret with you: when I do these flat twist/twist combos,  I never do what I planned to do.  My plan was to do a full set of flat twists in the front. Did that happen?  Nope!  I got lazy (and hungry) and settled for twists in the middle of the  two sets of flat twists.  Totally unplanned. I just noticed too that you can't really see that the flat twists are broken up in the middle by biz-zad. But anyway, lucky for me the style turned out pretty decent.

The products I used were the same products I always use for my hair with success:  World of Curls Curl Activator gel and Aloe Vera gel.  I also added castor oil as an extra sealant.

Okay in this picture below you can sort of kind of make out the two sets of flat twists.  One set is in the front, and the other set is beside my ear on the right:

  1. I love this. Your hair looks so yummy!!!

  2. Thank you Tinuke <3

    Thank you for stopping by!

  3. This style is super cute. I actually wore my hair very similarly. The twist-out came out nicely too.

  4. I really love this style. I am going to try it today since I am snowed in. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I know exactly what you mean about planning one style and ending up with another. I did that today, matter of fact. I love your hair. It is always beautiful!

  6. what are your favorite products for natural hair??

  7. Hey :)

My stash includes Worlds of Curl curl activator gel, and Aloe Vera gel for moisture.

If you want to know about other products I use, check out the "My Current Hair Products" section located on the top tool bar. Hope that helps :)

  8. I would like to twist my hair but my hair is thin revealing to much scalp area :(
