It all started last Friday with this:
Then I caught the mofo flu! I planned to study all weekend, go to a work party, and just be healthy but noooo I caught the flu. I had a fever of around 102 for 3 days and I felt like complete crap. I only had the flu once before, about 10 years ago and it was just as bad as I remembered.
Anyway, influenza or no influenza, I had to study and go to few classes (bad GG but blame college, they don't make it easy to miss!) when all I wanted to do was sleep. And my birthday was on the 5th. I can't be busted on my birthday! There are laws against that!
So this is what I came up with on February 4th, some flat twists and twists:
For the first time ever in my natural journey I used bobby pins. I didn't like them at all at one time because the ball would fall off and the tip would get caught in my hair and damage it. But I bought the Annie brand bobby pins, 100 for 1.29 at the local beauty supply store and the tips aren't going anywhere. They pass my smooth test and they are very well made. So now I am a big fan of bobby pins again!
So the key to having snag free bobby pins is to make sure they have the balls on the ends:
Do not use them ever if they do not have a ball on the end!
Happy Belated Birthday! Your hair looks great as usual. I love your hair.
