Ain't Nothing But a Ms-gg Thang Bay-by!

I got so tired of wearing my hair loose and I needed a serious change.  And you know how I do it-flat twists and twists!

As I said previously, my twist out from mini twists lasted four days before I gave up on it.  Back in the day, I would have wore that twist out out!  I would have let my hair shrink up , morph into a fro, and had the nerve to wonder why I was having issues with knots, single strand knots and tangled hair.  Yeah, okay.

Extreme close up of the hairdo:

I really had no plan or direction when I did this style.  I just did what felt right.

That's pretty much how I always do my hair, I just wing it. I have all these wonder ideas in my head of flat twists going up into buns and flat twists going back into french braids, and I always end up with some variation of a hairstyle I did before.  Womp womp womp.

Click here to see how a style similar to this looked back in December.

How I Made Sure My Hair Laid the Way I Wanted It To:

After each flat twist, I always clip the flat twist down with a duckbill clip. I do this to help prevent the flat twist from puffing up and so that I can help it lay in the direction I want it to.

Also, once I am finished doing the whole style, I will clip my hair down the way I want the finished style to lay.  In the morning I am usually good to go.

Alright ya'll, that's all folks.  And let me take a moment out to thank all of you all for stopping by, and to say hello to all of you all who are new to my blog!  Thank you all for your continuing support and I hope 2011 has been a good year for you so far.  Can you believe it, tomorrow is the last day of the month! SMH!!!

Bye ya'll!

  14. Beautiful. What products do you use on your hair? I have 2 little girls with natural hair and its tough finding products that keeps their hair moist and not too greasy or dry and brittle.
