Flossy flos-say!

If you ain't got no money take your broke, broke home!!!  *confused*

**Side note and disclaimer** the only reason I even know the words to any Fergy song is because my job plays the ish out of that song.  I would never listen to that song on my own freewill.  Nuh unh *end side note*

Big Thangs Poppin

One year ago.  *blank stare*  This was ONE year ago:

Not bad, considering I had a big setback in September.    Now I have to work on this weight thang.  Again. You know how it goes sometimes.  It just has a way of sneaking up on you.  Mmmm hmmm.  Yep that's it.  But food tastes so frickin good ugh!

Take care and until we meet again,

Back to Basics

I see you laughing at my granny hands and chipped nail polish! I see you!

Exams, group projects, laziness, work, ugh!  I just needed something where all I have to do is get up and go! You know what I mean?  I killed that twist out on Sunday.  It was dead.  Twists it is for the next 3 weeks.

Products used:
Same ole same ole Worlds of Curl Activator Gel and
Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel with Naturals

Time to complete:
About 4-5 1/2 hours

Thanks for reading and stopping by!  Until we meet again,

Are You Trying To Keep Up With the Natural Hair Jones?

Be careful with experimenting (ask me how I know)
  •  What works for them may not necessarily work for you

If you got a good thing going don't change it!
  •    No breakage, no split ends or mid shaft splits, brittle hair, dry hair, excessively tangled hair-then why change?  Keep doing whatever it is that is working for you.

I know, I know, I GET IT.  It is very tempting to try out her regimen because she claimed to have went from an Amber Rose to floor length hair in 2 years.

But you have to really stop and think about what it is you are chasing.  Are the results that you want even possible for you to obtain?  Going from coarse, wiry strands to fine silky strands is probably not going to happen.  Learn to accept your hair for what it is.  Learn to work with your hair and not against it.  If you do this, your natural journey will become a walk in the park (ask me how I know).

Until we meet again,

I'm not a shoe whore by default + second day twistout

You probably don't remember, but last month, I showed ya'll these bad ass shoes from DSW:

You can get them here

I couldn't get them because of my feets. So I got these instead:

Not what I was looking for (in other words, they weren't the bad ass wedge shoes above) but they alright.

Next, day two of my current twist out from my last flat twist/twist style that lasted 16 days:

This was me yesterday:

I wore the whole twist and flat twist style a total of 16 days before I took it down.  I could have rocked it for another week but I was ready for a change.
