Twist Out

Hey ya'll! Hope all is well on your side of the computer screen.  This week I had enough of some of the most ratchet looking twists so I took them down on Monday night:

I used raw cocoa butter and Oyin's Burnt Sugar Pomade to help me take down my twists.  My hair smelled like chocolate syrup! Lol

I think my hair is on the grow ya'll! Length check is definitely on the way.

I plan to wear this hairstyle for at least 2-3 days before I take it down.

Well ya'll, my next post will be an update to my current regimen.  Even after being natural for 5 years and thinking I have a solid routine down to a "T," there is still room for improvement.

And that is something that I hope that all new naturals realize-it may take some time to get a solid routine figured out, and that is okay.

There isn't a race or contest (that I know of, don't make me a liar lol) to see who can get a solid routine down the fasted.  Most of us naturals had to figure out all that we know through trial and error.  So if you are still struggling to come up with a winter regimen, that is okay!  Nothing is wrong with you.  Okay?

I'm out ya'll.  See you later on this week.
